Choices

There are many choices we make in our lives, some are so basic and small we don’t hardly think about them, while others are more profound and we put more thought into them. We make many choices each day without even thinking much about it; it's just part of everyday living. Here are just a few.

Some minor choices may be, when to wake up, what we will wear, what to eat for meals, should we check our phone first, what to focus on right now, how to respond to any messages, start a conversation with someone or not, giving a compliment or not, choose to listen to advise, put something away or leave it for later, take the stairs or the elevator, go for a walk or not, watch TV or read or neither, when to go to bed, etc:

Then there are more major choices such as, what you want to become as your profession, where you will live, do you rent or own, who will become your circle of friends, do you marry or not, do you have children, risks in life you may take or not, how you manage your finances, take care of yourself with exercise, diet, sleep, do you contribute to others and causes, what you will leave behind to others, etc:

Then there is the choice of what you will believe.

Will you believe in the evolution theories (no God, just live, die and that’s it) or maybe reincarnation, that you will come back again or so many other theories.

Maybe you will believe that their is a higher power but have many concepts of how this plays out in life; and if you even believe there is a Heaven then maybe you think everyone will end up there, but maybe a few really evil people.

Maybe you actually think there may be a God, maybe in creation or a combination of craetion and evolution. There is an endless amount of possible beliefs, but what is correct.

There is only one true choice and that is the one God, Three persons in One (the Father, Son, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit). God is eternal, which means He always was from eternity past to eternity future.

So now consider the evidence for what to believe, we must consider the facts. Will you accept the
theories about evolution where they talk about what they say happened billions of years ago or do you consider what the Bible tells us about creation and a young earth. Also note that the Bible which was written over hundreds of years, a few thousand years ago foretells of times in future, where things are beginning to come to pass right now. Much information about these things can be found in some of my other messages.

Of all the choices in life that are made this one is the most important, all other choices will affect you for the lifetime you live here on earth, but this one not only affects you now, but wiil affect you for eternity future after the end of your earthy life.

Consider the times before Jesus returns
, often referred to as the last days, characterized by increased global turmoil, including wars, famines, earthquakes, the rise of false prophets, the global preaching of the gospel, and the return of Israel to their land.

Events and signs described in the Bible before the second coming include:

Rise of the Antichrist & Tribulation:
A satanically empowered world leader will rise, deceiving many with a false peace before establishing a seven-year tribulation period, where he breaks his covenant with Israel.

The Rapture: This referrs to a "catching away" (rapture) of believers before or near the beginning of this seven-year tribulation.

Apostasy and Wickedness: A significant falling away from faith, increased wickedness, and a loss of love among believers, similar to the "days of Noah".

Global Conflict: The Battle of Armageddon, which takes place at the end of the tribulation.

Cosmic Signs: The sun will be darkened, the moon will not give light, and cosmic disturbances will occur just before Jesus appears.

Visible Return: The return of Jesus Christ, visible to all, acting in judgment to end the tribulation and initiate the millennial kingdom.

While many signs are given to indicate the season (or time), the Bible states that no one knows the exact day or hour; but saying that, you need to be ready by acknowledging you are a sinner, repenting of your sin, believe (trust) in Jesus, that He died on the cross for you and ask Jesus to forgive you of your sin.
