Experience God as He Personally Moves in Your Life
The Bible says in Matt 22:37,38 "You shall love (FIRST) the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment".In Rev 2:7 we see a solemn warning. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lamp stand from its place.
Experiencing God in a personal an intimate love relationship through a relationship with Jesus Christ can be real and is one of the most important direction you can learn about. The Bible says in John 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
Loving Jesus Christ and experiencing the work of God go hand in hand (cannot do one without the other) Knowing God does not come through a program, study or method; but relationship, involvement, and love, with Jesus Christ each day. God invites you to come where He is already at work and get involved where he is at work.
God took the initiative to reveal Himself to people in the Bible by personal experience.
As we consider from the Bible the verse John 15:5 we can see the order, first we need to establish a love relationship with Him, then He wants to involve you in His kingdom purposes through this love relationship. Next he will accomplish His work through you. If you are experiencing a time of fruitlessness it may be because you are trying to do things on your own that God has not initiated. God does not just turn us loose to work out His plan, He wants us to have a relationship to Him. He will never give you an assignment that He will not enable you to do
God is all-knowing and His directions are always best. God is all-powerful and He can enable you to accomplish His will. When your life is in the middle of God's activity, He will rearrange a lot of your thinking. Often the task will be humanly impossible but He will enable you; these are what gives God the glory.
God's will is for you to come involved in what He is doing, the focus needs to be on Him and
His purposes, not on your own life. Once you know God's will you can adjust to His purposes.
When you consider the context of Rev 2:1~5 God is saying, Don't just do something; enter into a love relationship with Me, get to know me, adjust your life to Me, let me love you and reveal myself to you, as I work through you.
